About us
Our knowledge of industry compliance obligations and experience in AFSL compliance, allows us to assist financial advisers on improving their knowledge of Best Interest Duty and related obligations. Our purpose is to complete each Statement of Advice (“SoA”) in a compliant manner, whilst assisting you improve on your advice process.
To successfully deliver advice, financial advisers must engage competent paraplanner staff. We have a high level of compliance competence within our paraplanning team. Having written, audited or remediated over 3,000 Statements of Advice, we are experienced career paraplanners and compliance focused professionals.
Our experience suggests that the poor preparation of SoAs will likely lead to failed advice audits which will invariably require client or adviser remediation. By engaging competent paraplanning professionals to assist, you can prevent this poor advice sequence from occurring.

Cristian Fuenzalida
Founder & Director
Cristian Fuenzalida is the director of Paraplanning Hub Pty Ltd. He’s been in the financial planning industry for 14 years working in Australian Financial Service Licensee (“AFSL”) roles including as senior para-planner, advice analyst, remediation advisor and risk and compliance manager. Cristian has written, audited and remediated over 1,000 Statements of Advice throughout his career. His strong knowledge of industry compliance obligations and experience in AFSL compliance, allows him to assist financial advisers on improving their knowledge of Best Interest Duty and related obligations, improving on their advice processes with the ultimate view to improve audit outcomes.
Cristian studied Business Administration, Banking & Finance at the University of Canberra. He holds a Diploma in Business Administration, an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and is completing study towards his Masters in Financial Planning.
Andrew Hunt
Director & Paraplanning Manager
Andrew Hunt is co-director of Paraplanning Hub Pty Ltd. His experience in financial services extends over 20 years, as both a dedicated financial adviser and passionate paraplanner. Skilled in cashflow management, debt reduction, superannuation, self-managed superannuation, investment planning, insurance, retirement planning, centrelink strategies and estate planning, Andrew’s expert knowledge allows Paraplanning Hub to maintain a high standard in preparing Statements of Advice.
Andrew is a disciple of Warren Buffet and his ‘circle of competence’ approach. Having written over 2,000 Statements of Advice throughout his career to date, Andrew’s competence in paraplanning support our strong foundation.
Andrew studied Business Management & Applied Finance at Queensland University of Technology. He also holds an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services.
